Kornati Marina

Kornati Marina is located on the outskirts of the charming town of Biograd na Moru in the centre of the so-called Biograd Riviera, on the northern side of the peninsula.  It is a large modern marina with over seven hundred berths and excellent facilities for visiting charterers. The town of Biograd was an important political and religious centre during the 11th and 12th centuries when it was the seat of the Croatian kings. Over the years, the Venetians and Turks sought to gain control over the town.

These days, Biograd na Moru is a low-key resort, with plenty in the way of shops, cafes and restaurants to appeal to visiting charterers. The town has a small museum with an interesting collection that includes items recovered from a 16th century shipwreck. A number of buildings dating from the 11th century are still standing and Biograd na Moru is a delightful place to pause on a Kornati Marina yacht charter.
