Kiladia Yacht Charters

The picturesque village of Kiladia lies close to the centre of Ermioni. It is a quiet village where the traditional activities of fishing and boat-building continue to this day.  The village is home to a good selection of seafood restaurants serving the local red shrimp specialities.

Nearby is Porto Heli, a beautiful harbour town, with good facilities for visiting charterers. Close by too is the Franchthi cave, which overlooks the Argolic Gulf. There is evidence that the cave was inhabited as far back at 20,000 BC and archaeologists have been able to deduce that the first inhabitants were hunter gatherers. This is the oldest known agricultural site in the whole of Greece. Artefacts made out of obsidian have been excavated from the caves and traced back to the island of Melos, which lies eighty miles (130 km) away and there is also evidence of the keeping of domestic animals and plants and of deep-sea fishing.

A Kiladia yacht charter allows you to visit the interesting and picturesque churches of Agios Demetrios, Agios Nikolaos and Evangelistria and the lighthouse on the rocks near to the church of Agios Nikolaos.
