Overview

This Flotilla combines sheltered sailing and longer hops with island stops at the sandy beaches or Solta and Brac, the highest island in the Adriatic aslo home to the famous Bol 'Zlatni Rat' peninsula.
Mainland marinas at the walled castle of Trogir and the pretty town of Rogoznica give a good insight into more traditional lifestyle and diversities of the sun-kissed Dalmatian Riviera.

Sailing in Vis

Sailing here is best suited to those with reasonable previous sailing experience although navigation is easy with line-of-sight sailing.
Winds are light and variable in the mornings, with afternoon breezes and calm nights. Winds are generally south-easterly and range from 5 – 20 knots (6 - 23 mph). Summer temperatures range from 23 to 30 C (73 - 86 F) so not generally as hot as some of our Greek and Turkish locations.
Secluded anchorages are plentiful and at town quays lazy lines are usually employed, making mooring easy.
