A different holiday with a fantastic life experience

Overview - Give us a summary of your time with Sunsail?

Everything was efficient, the booking, transfers, information, updates, correspondance....everything

Is there anything else you would like to share?

Michelle Cox in the UK office replied and answered all queries very promptly The team handing over the boats in Kremik worked very hard and provided excellent service Can't recomend Sunsail high enough

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

We had a Catamaran - it sailed well, handled bad weather very impresively, comfortable, clean and well maintained

Tips - Do you have any advice for fellow Sunsail guests visiting this destination?

Some harbour fees are unjustifiably expensive, considering there location so have an idea of where you are going and contact the harbours prior to departure so you know what you are paying for each night's mooring. Also book ahead as some harbours were turning people away as they were full

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

Dolphins swimming along side the boat. Dropping the anchor in remote bays to dine and snorkle way off the beaten track Battling through 50 to 60 knot winds and lumpy seas - fantastic

An amazing week cruising the Adriatic, exploring the islands and living the dream in one of Europes coolest night scenes.

Straight forward and stress free from booking online to stepping on board in Kremik. The staff at HO to the staff on the base could not have been more helpful.

Hvar was the highlight of the trip. Amazing culture & history in the day to the happpening night life sipping cocktails with the beautiful people watching the sun set in the sea. Bliss.

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

The modern feel. It felt very new, and everything well kept.

Check out Hvar if you are going to party... And stock up with Pan (the local beer) it does the job!

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

Sun sets at the Hulla Hula bar in Hvar, then raving it up all night and lounging on the yacht the day after.

Superb cruising holiday

Overview - Give us a summary of your time with Sunsail?

Very friendly and very helpful staff. Briefiing on boat was thorough. I returned to Kremik at the end of the first week for a change of crew. I was extremely impressed with the very thorough cleaning and checking of the boat, which I saw first hand

Plan to return there in 2011 for a third time.

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

A well found Sun Oceanis 47.5, which sailed very well, and was very comfortable. Everything worked well. The only drawback was that it had a big 'propwalk', which could make backing on to a quay difficult.

Tips - Do you have any advice for fellow Sunsail guests visiting this destination?

I have had 2 weeks north of Kremik, this year, and two weeks south last year. The areas are very different, but we all loved both. The north is much more rugged, with very many islands, and to the south is more populated

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

Luka Telascica was outstanding and we went there twice this year. We also had better sailing both weeks this year. We did about 120 miles each week and only about 10 hours motoring each week. The most memorable experience was definitely at Primosten. After an excellent dinner the first party returned in the tender, only to experience a very sudden and very violent thunderstorm overhead. Torrential rain reduced visability to zero, and the sea increased alarmingly. Those left on shore experienced the street becoming a river!
