Dubrovnik Yacht Charter

Sailing Conditions

General Conditions

The climate of the Croatian coast is ideal for a Dubrovnik bareboat sailing holiday. With blue skies and consistent warm weather it is one of the sunniest coastlines in Europe. Throughout the cruising season, water temperatures average 22ºC (71ºF). Winds are generally reliable, from a north-westerly direction, and range between 5 and 20 knots (6 – 23 mph), occasionally reaching 25 knots (28 Mph) in the afternoon.

The tidal range is small, only 30 cms (1 - 2 feet), and a Dubrovnik yacht charter affords ample opportunity for line-of-sight sailing in sheltered waters.

Modern, well-equipped marinas are plentiful along the coast. A Dubrovnik bareboat yacht charter is suitable for confident sailors with reasonable previous experience but you must have International Certificate of Competence (ICC) or RYA Day Skipper certificate to skipper a yacht here.
